Parenting Note #743: Masticating

I watched him shovel food into his mouth and wondered if a pack of wild howler monkeys raised him when I wasn’t paying attention.

I’m hoping he magically learns how to eat like a human, but on the flip side, I’m happy he’s actually eating. He’ll sometimes go close to eight hours without putting a single bite of food into his stomach.

Meanwhile, I’m eating everything in sight, and sometimes not eating very much at all.

The only thing that keeps me from eating more is the time spent empty the recycle bin on my computer, as you’ll see in the video clip below.
