Millions of parents have turned into teachers thanks to the pandemic.
It hasn’t been a smooth or fun transition for most moms and dads.
A few have taken quickly to the role.
Others are drowning.
The formerly Permanent Roommate has taken on a bulk of the homeschooling responsibility while still working a full-time job from her home office.
I’ll drop by each day to handle gym, reading, social and emotional learning (SEL) and random educational activities.
The only three classes which I excelled at in school.
On the days the kids were over my house during school hours and had questions, well, thankfully the internet exists.
If you’re a parent who’s teaching multiple kids while working a full-time job at home, this message is for you.
You’re not doing a good job — and that’s fine.
Your kids aren’t really getting graded on this work and neither are you.
