If you’re tired of hanging out with friends, you go home.
If you’re tired of being around family, you leave.
If you’re sick of co-workers, you can lock yourself in an office or just ignore them all day.
But what happens when you’re just over hanging out with your kids?
Nothing.
You’re stuck with them until bedtime or drop off or school or any other prolonged break.
For this reason, I promise a national bedtime of 6:30 pm for all kids under 16.
I’ve already cleared a spot on my desk for my future Nobel.

Are you looking for fun summer projects for the kids that are also educational?
Lyla and I often do projects together but I’m not sure we’ve ever had as much fun as we did doing this MEL Science kit from MEL Kids.
MEL Science is breaking the stereotype that science is boring, difficult, and exclusive. They strive to make serious science accessible and interesting for kids.
I love MEL Science so much that I’m partnering with them and offering a deal to my followers. Just head over to MEL Science and use the code BOTTLE to get 25% off your first month!
OTHER THINGS I DID WHEN I WASN’T WRITING NOTES
ON LAST WEEK’S EPISODE OF “WE RUN THIS” – We spoke to Eric Esposito, a triathlete an Iron Man competitor. He is also a traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivor. Eric discusses his accident, how the TBI has changed him as a person and athlete, getting back to training after the accident, and staying focused during races and training. LISTEN NOW!
ON LAST WEEK’S EPISODE OF “NOT ABOUT WRESTLING” – We spoke to artist Hal Haney. There are so many things to love about Hal’s artwork but I’m sure you’ll love his pieces more when you hear Hal’s incredible story. LISTEN NOW!
STUFF I’M DOING THAT DOESN’T INVOLVE STICKY NOTES
One more reminder to send in your questions for “Ask Chris Anything.” If you have a question – any question – for me, shoot it over to messagewithabottle@gmail.com.
Thanks, everyone.
Have a great week and be kind to one another.
