I’ll get asked the question in this week’s note every once in a while. I’ll respond that I could never choose a favorite note and give the reason.
It’s just one of the reasons I could never pick a favorite. The other reason is that I don’t remember all seven hundred plus notes, the same as how I don’t remember every single moment with my kids.
The notes will bring those moments flooding back like the time the 8-year-old had enough of Dora the Explorer’s questions or the question from the 11-year-old that started a real-life disagreement between Mark Hamil and Chris Evans.

The other frequently asked question about my notes is “Do you keep them or throw them away?” I’m a purger, by nature, so the moment after taking a photo of a note it goes in the trash. The note is available in photo form, why do I need the hard copy?
Maybe one day I will wish that I kept all the notes in a box, bin, or folder. I doubt it.
Now that I think about it, whenever I’m asked which note is my favorite, I should probably respond “the next one.”
STUFF I DID ON INSTAGRAM THAT YOU PROBABLY MISSED
I was forced to read bottles in the cabinet. I never realized I owned so many bottles of stuff I never use.
OTHER THINGS I DID WHEN I WASN’T WRITING NOTES
STUFF I DID THAT DOESN’T INVOLVE STICKY NOTES
ON LAST WEEK’S EPISODE OF “WE RUN THIS”
We talked to professional long-distance runner and the 2020 USATF Athlete of the Year, Natosha Rogers.
Natosha’s story is fascinating. Just over three years ago, the 30-year-old thought her running career was over.
After a knee injury came out of nowhere, and surgery left her barely able to walk, she lost her and had to get a job in tech sales to pay the bills. Now, she’s on the Brooks running team and came within a few seconds from making the Olympic team.
In this interview, Natosha talks about her injuries, the power of mantras and manifesting, getting into some dark moments, and her climb back to being a professional runner.

HERE’S WHAT I’M READING: Buy Yourself The F*cking Lillies
I’m still plowing through the T.D. Jakes’ book, Don’t Drop The Mic, but this book is next on the list after the recommendation of a close friend.
Buy Yourself the F*cking Lilies is the story of Tara Schuster’s path to re-parenting herself and becoming a “ninja of self-love.” Through simple, daily rituals, Tara transformed her mind, body, and relationships. Schuster is
It’s a life story mixed with life lessons. I can’t wait to start reading.
HERE’S WHAT I’M EATING: Lesser Evil Organic Popcorn
I’m a sucker for popcorn. This stuff is delicious and involves less guilt.
HERE’S WHAT I’M TAKING: Genius Caffeine
I gave up coffee years ago but still need caffeine. Genius Caffeine has all the benefits of coffee without the jitters and gallons of almond milk.
These pills are perfect for a late afternoon pick-me-up without having to worry about being up all night because you drank a coffee too late in the day.
