I can’t believe it. I really can’t believe this is parenting note #750.
I also can’t believe that the website turned 10 years old with note #700, and now note #750 falls around the eleventh anniversary, especially because I’m AWFUL at planning things.
Honestly, when I wrote the first parenting note, stuck it on the wall, took a photo, and uploaded it to Tumblr (REMEMBER TUMBLR?!?) I never in my wildest dreams imagined I’d be talking about note #750 someday.
So how has my life changed over the last eleven years and 750 notes?
Professionally, things have gone better than I ever could have imagined, especially considering the long line of awful jobs that led to my career now.
You probably already know about the books and calendars but what you probably don’t know is that for the last year, I’ve been working on side projects with the amazing people over at What Do You Meme?
Besides working on social media initiatives for the company, I’ve written three kid’s games for the company. It’s been an amazing experience.
In the last year, I’ve launched two successful podcasts.
My love of running turned into a show called We Run This, where I talk to elite runners, top-level athletes, fitness instructors, nutritionists, and even weekend warriors about all things health.
My 35-year obsession with professional wrestling turned into a show called Not About Wrestling, where I interview the biggest names of the past and present, and we talk about almost everything except wrestling.
My co-host for both of those shows – Steph on Not About Wrestling and Gina on We Run This – are both amazing women to work with, and I can’t wait to see what the next few years have in store for both shows.
I’m still writing for BroBible regularly, and I’m working on a few secret projects that I hope to talk about soon.
And that’s about it.
The most important thing I want to say…
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face; I wouldn’t be here without every single person who shared my notes, followed me on Instagram, bought my books and calendars, and helped spread the word about this website.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I love every single one of you.
Except for Craig. Fuck you, Craig.
Here’s to 750 more notes…
